Welcome to the world of Premium Saffron
Saffron Quality: It matters, a lot.
There are problems with Saffron in the West. Namely: it’s underused, misunderstood, and a sometimes poor reputation is in certain cases, well justified. Let me explain:
In Persia, and generally Mediterranean and Asian culture, Saffron is well known for it’s amazing ability to capitalise on the taste buds of the individual, not forgetting it’s other herbal and medicinal properties.
One BBC article from 2017 introduces it being ‘packed with antioxidants. It is said to help combat depression and lower blood pressure, to soften your skin and hair and is essential in a broad range of dishes from Swedish buns to paella‘.
But the spice has received a bad reputation recently: namely due to poor quality saffron being sold and branded as the high quality stuff. That saffron which those of us from Iran grew to know and love is being mis-sold, mis-marketed, and mis-understood amongst emerging markets in the western countries, and generally worldwide. Lushima hopes to fix that.
Lushima Ltd. brings to the table only the finest quality Saffron, to distinguish itself in the market from the rest.
